Comfort Concepts Pty Ltd designs and manufactures a comprehensive range of adjustable, self-inflating cushions, therapeutic products and pressure care products. The company owns the patent rights and tooling for the manufacture of PostureLITE Comfort Control Valves.

PostureLITE wheelchair/seating cushions were evaluated and pressure mapped by the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and recently adopted by The Westmead Children's Hospital in preference to RoHo.

PostureLITE cushions are priced between US$76 and US$225 (retail) and offer an affordable alternative for both medium and low risk clients. They compare very well in terms of pressure care and overall performance to cushions that retail for US$265-US$400 plus.

The revolutionary cushions comprise one or more inner cells, which are upholstered in two-way stretch fabrics with a non-skid base. Inner cells are manufactured with a top quality heavy duty, fire resistant polyurethane foam, encased in inflatable grade PVC.

The shape and thickness of the cushion can be easily adjusted to suit individual needs by admitting or expelling air through a specially designed press button valve and the cushion readily moulds to the user's body contours.

The use of multiple inner cells provides variable options that can be tailored to provide customised support and positioning for people with spinal or pelvic distortion. The cells are lightweight and readily mould to the user, providing excellent weight distribution and pressure reduction.

We are seeking partners who can distribute PostureLITE cushions to all potential markets within their region. Exclusivity may be granted subject to minimum annual quantities and we will consider proposals which involve the manufacture of our products under licence.
