Melioform is a deep restoration and decoloration plant for used mineral oils, such as motor oils, industrial lube oils, insulation oils, transmission oils, black engine oils and others. One unit can process 0.35 m3 per hour, and you can achieve any desired performance by combining several units. The standard plant consists of 3 units and allows the process rate of 1m3 per hour.
Our new Melioform process involves selective activation of the lyophobic properties of surfaces of the liquids comprising stable emulsions. The activation is conducted by injecting a specially developed and patented lyophobic adsorbent agent which affects surface tension of the liquids particles without chemically reacting with them. Due to the minimal consumption of the activating agent and its continuous integrated cleaning, the economic effect of this process is significantly higher than that of technologies using solid adsorbents and membrane filters. This process implements a closed processing cycle for the supplies (Melioform agent and rinse water), achieving continuous operation without any additional plant and labor.
The main result of processing of the used mineral oils with Melioform plant is obtaining pure base oils which are stripped of all hard and liquid admixtures and of the detrimental pigments, allowing to fully restore base oil color.

1. Fractions produced from typical used motor oil samples for petrol engines:
Light base oil - up to 92%
Heavy admixtures and pigments - 5%
Paraffin - up to 3%
Water - traces

2. Fractions produced from typical used motor oil samples for diesel engines:
Light base oil - up to 90%
Heavy admixtures and pigments - 5%
Paraffin - up to 5-7%
Water - traces

3. Fractions produced from typical used industrial oil samples:
Light base oil - up to 93%
Heavy admixtures and pigments - 2-4%
Paraffin - up to 5-7%
