We are Slovak timber company Bucina, our product range includessolid wood panel, sawn products, plywood and pressure and vacuum impregnated products.
Slovakia is situated in the Eastern part of Europe, 41% of the country is covered in dense forest, with major species like beech, oak and maple. The environment of Slovakia is prefect for quality wood that the timbering industry had played a vital part in the Slovak economy of centuries. In Zvolen, where we are based, we have one of the world's prominent university on wood work and processing technology. Bucina have a history of 60 years, we had been awarded the ISO 9002 from the International Organization for Standardization in 1995. Currently we have a yearly turnover of US$21.5 million and are exporting to 19 countries. |
