DESK OF FUNCTIONARY:
Almost six years have been passed since our registration though we are actively engaged in this activity for last 9 years and the year 2007-08 i.e. the year under review may be called the transition period of TAWS, the turning point in the life of TAWS when it is finding soil under its feel and is being dare enough to look its destination, to fulfill its mission even in this hard word “Survival of the Fittest”.
As regard the SHG Micro-Finance activity, I should say that a large number of people have been involved with us through SHG. The number of groups as on 31st March, 2008 involves more than 774 beneficiaries and it formed 63 groups in various corner of the District.
I wish to express the feelings of my heart. I strongly feel that TAWS has been able to create a separate identity of its own and believe that it will go a long way.
We are working with NABARD, CSWB, KVIB, DIST. HORTICULTURE, CSOs, towards the development of women by forming SHGs.
We are regularly Selling: gents bag, ladies bag, school bag, food products, spices, pickles, bamboo craft, cloth, decoration items. |
