NICE" is a new venture in the provision of information and communication technology. Translated in sukuma,"nyanza" means the lake.
The way lake Victoria links the East Africa nations, Nyanza Information Centre is a platform which aims at uniting people using innovative communication technologies. The Internet is becoming the most reliable and fast network, through which people of the lake region can interact with others in Africa; and the rest of the World.
The Vision Statement for the business is to become an ICT service provider with a skilled and equiped technical team.
The services will address the current market needs and wants. These include, internet services at a better download speed and reliability, training on business application, web advertising, and the print media.
The centre aims at making the exchange of ideas and current news in the form of text, voice and visual data a reality and affordable to cross cutting network groups.
