309 s stainless steel plates is the variation of lower carbon content 309, used for welding occasion. Low carbon content makes minimize separation carbide near the welding heat affected zone. The carbide separation may lead 309S stainless steel plate to intergranular corrosion produced in some environment. (Weld decay).
