Phase-Transfer-Catalysts (PTC)
Alginic acids are made from
brown algae. The alcinic acids,
used for Opticell® arearranged by
a special production method in
combination with iron to
complexes which structure is
similar to the red blood pigment
haemoglobin. The iron-alginic
acid-complexes can bind oxygen
in the same way as haemoglobin
does and transfer it into the cells.
